Self Assessments Questionnaires

There are five separate self assessment questionnaire categories:

1. Card-not-present (e-commerce or mail/telephone-order) merchants, where all cardholder data functions are outsourced. This does not apply to merchants who complete face-to-face transactions.

2. Imprint-only merchants with no electronic cardholder data storage.

3. Stand-alone terminal merchants with no electronic cardholder data storage.

4. Merchants with POS systems that are connected to the Internet, but have no electronic cardholder data storage.

5. All merchants who process cardholder data only via isolated virtual terminals on personal computers connected to the Internet. Click here to view SAQ C VT
6. All other merchants (not included in categories 1-5 listed above) and all service providers who are defined by a payment brand as eligible to complete an SAQ.
